I'm of the same mind, wtbash. Got stuck on old Hardys; I like the Battenkill as well. I fished with a Major Medallion as a kid which I think was a knock off Phleuger, at least it looks the same.

Nice collection WTBash,

What's the second rod from the left? ( The one that the Pflueger 1394 is mounted on ).

Thanks TT

TT, its a FH Paddock Lemon Drop blank I finished, I hear you Wannafish. Hardy's are sweet but for me the Akron built Pfluegers are my Perfects.

I love them all, I've had my fair share of modern reels over time but I like the looks of the older reels.

Nice reel casey, is that an Ocean City?

Here is a picture taken a few years ago, my St.George 3.75 on my #5 rod while at rest.

There are so many nice reels and great shots of reel porn in this post. WOW! Collectively, this is one heckuva fine collection of reels. I'm impressed, blown away and humbled by some of the individual collections. After reading through 25 pages of Reel Love I've been motivated to take some photos of my own humble collection and share them. Here's a teaser--this one's for you Ard. The rest of the photos are in the link. I didn't want to take up too much space.

Nice reels, beautiful fish! I never owned a St. John, yours looks like a beauty. You should post a set of it.

Thanks Ard! Looking forward to fishing it, this is my first Hardy Reel believe it or not. I picked up the St. John to pair with a 6wt switch--I have yet to get on the water with this rig, although I have been practice casting and loving it! Here are a few shots of the St. John.

I added a few more shots of the two Galvans that I own in the same link from above. I am anxiously awaiting using this one on spring creeks this coming spring. It has yet to be fished.

That one is about mint; a beautiful piece of 20'th century tackle for sure. You're gonna get a bang outta having that reel. I never had a Galvan reel either but that looks like a fine reel also. You are fortunate in having some really nice pieces there Jay.

I had a slip in the post box yesterday, I think my Odyssey IV is back from the Orvis repair people. I'll run up to the post office soon to find out
