Where are Orvis reels made now; they used to made in England I thought.

Like most other things they are either made in China or Korea,I know The SA & The White River 270 are made in Korea & I'm not suprised if Orvis is also.

I asked a Sage dealer where the Sage reels were made and I believe he said Korea (Asia anyway) and most Hardys are made in Korea now so I suspect Orvis is the same. I don't think it affects the quality, just the price!
