Default Reels from China :-) on eBay

Hi
I found that one can buy nice reels in good prices. Do you know these reels:

Aircraft grade T6061 Bar Stock AL CNC machine cut LARGE ARBOR 9/10WT FLY REEL | eBay

Anyone had experience with them?

I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for in most reels, It does look nice, but what are the internals like is where I would worry the most, but that is just me.

Nice looking reels on the monitor. The link came up in some other language. Are the reels shipping from Cali or from over seas?

Would be lying if I didn't say my Spidey senses are tingling a bit; seems a little sketchy. If the seller is reputable, would be interesting to see. If the guts of the reel proved cheap could they be switched out for better internal parts? Maybe they fell off the truck going to an American owned company manufacturing in Asia.

Most of these reels are made by Chi-Tian.
I have one of the really small ones (YB-60). I paid about $12 for it. Bought it mostly out of curiosity.
It's OK for a 2-wt rod. I use it on a 6' 2wt.
The innards look a lot like the innards on the small Okuma SLV (2/3).
The only issue I've had so far is that the spool is really small. It barely holds a whole 2wt line with no backing.
You can buy them in wholesale lots here:
Wholesale MUMUJIURI -CHITIAN YA series Aminum Die casting CNC Fly Fishing reels lures, Free shipping, $17.91-25.36/Piece | DHgate

at $50... $31.00 for the reel.. $20 for shipping.. you're better off buying an Okuma SLV for around the same price.. and the one advantage being.. it's known to be a good reel..

If you buy a cheap chinese reel from ebay, i would expect you will get a cheap chinese reel to fish with. Not something most strive for!

Really? Who's going to be doing the seeing? The fish? Other fisherman?
And they'd (the fish or fisherman) really care?
I have $10 reels and $300 reels. I have $20 fly rods and $700 fly rods.
I have Snap-On tools and Craftsman tools and no-name tools.
I have $3000 lenses and $100 lenses.
In each case these are all just tools for a job. As long as they do the job, I'm happy.
I can safely say I've never inspected another fisherman's equipment (in any sense of the word).
