Default sage 1800 or echo ion or ?

I was at work a while back cleaning out one of the barns we use for storage, when I came across the butt section of a 9'-9weight Lamiglas G1000. I asked the manager what he wanted me to do with it. He said throw it away so I asked if I could take it.

I sent it to Lamiglas , and they said for 55.00 they would build me a new tip section. So now I've been shopping for a reel to put on it. So far I have found an sage 1800 and an echo ion that will fit my budget nicely but I don't know anything about either.

I was hoping maybe someone had some experience with either one, or a recommendation on something else.

Thanks
