Default Taylor Reels?

Hey everyone, I am new to the forum and I noticed a banner for a reel company called Taylor Reels. I looked them up and they look great and also have a kickstarter page for a new reel. Have any of you owned any of these reels because I am very intrigued!?

Welcome to the forum

I have no experience with Taylor Reels but I am certain that some one who has will chime in - I just wanted to say "Hey" and "Welcome"

I have a type1 (3-4 weight) and it's a nice piece. My only complaint is that there are no spare spools available yet. I'[ve fished it mated with a 3wt Redington CT. Not going to stress the drag with the fish I'm after with that rig, but the drag seems solid from what I can tell.

They're a New Mexico company, that's part of the reason I bought it...

Welcome to the forums! Great group of folks here.

Bob

Thanks for the warm welcome guys and I'm glad to hear someone who owns one. I might as well help donate to their kickstarter so I can get a discounted price! Plus, I'm looking for a new 7/8 anyway, this just gives me an excuse so the woman doesn't get mad!

Hey Steez,

This is Matthew from Taylor Reels. We try to be active here on the forums. Let me know if you have any specific questions. The Array is a great reel and we back it up with a lifetime warranty and a 30 day money back guarantee. We would love to have your support on our kickstarter campaign!

Thanks,

Matthew
