Make sure your girlfriend does not see a custom graphic or colored Abel or Nautilus. She will want one. And then she will want a premium rod to match. Be prepared to work a few extra shifts or overtime to finance that one.

Don't get pink. Get an Echo Solo reel. $35. Boom. I'd suggest the Ion but those are $99.

Hahaha she's already seen the custom colored Abel, because that's what I fish! Lol thanks for the Echo recommendation, but I already went with the Allen. Should be here in a few days along with the rest of the stuff. Got the whole outfit for under $400!
