Default Allen Reel Breakdown

I had an issue with my drag on the alpha reel and I remembered seeing a breakdown of the alpha, like a parts diagram of sorts.

I can't find the post. Does anyone know where it might be?

Thanks Frank. I took a look but I have the alpha reel and its a little different. I did some looking but didn't find the specs for the alpha. I've sent Justin a PM but still haven't heard back.

Thanks again Frank.

Arkman, what issue did you have with the Drag? And which size was it?
Also as you know you can send it back to Justin and he will make it right.

Far as I can tell a small chunk of the disk in the drag system cracked off and was causing a terrible rubbing/grinding noise when I pulled the drag out.

I broke it down and cleaned it out. Not a big deal, but I just wanted to triple check that I got it back together properly.

I did talk to Justin and he told me to send it back anyways to have him look. I'm done with fishing for this year so I'm going to do that.

Thanks for the help.

Not yet but I told him to hold off on sending it back until the rest of my order is ready. I'm sure I'll see it next week. I told him its not a rush since everything is all iced over here. No more fly fishing for me until my trip to Colorado in February.

I have a pdf file on Allen reels that may help. It is in my documents. I do not know how to upload that file here. If nobody knows, you could just send me your email address, and I will email the file to you.
