Default PAC bay quicklime 5 wt blanks

I have heard good things about these blanks. How they compare to sage zaxis?
Thanks
Barham

Having now played with these blanks quite a bit now I would say the 5wt is going to put you about midway between the Z-axis and the TCX. A little faster than the Z, and not quite as fast as the TCX. weight is very close on all three. Very nice blanks at any cost.

Thanks pegboy for the reply.
I am looking for s blank that is a little slower or softer than the zaxis but faster than a sage slt or winston wt in a 5 wt.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
barham

Have you tried Batson's RX8 blanks? They are a bit softer than the Z axis, but still plenty fast to throw some line.
