Default Just Finished First Birch Bark Grip

Here's my first stab at building a custom birch bark grip. Heck, it my first stab at building a grip at all. It's not a shape you see everyday but I like it and it feels good in my hand. It is going on a 6'6" 2wt rod that I am building. (First rod build as well)

Let me know what you think. Criticism welcome

-Jason

Thanks Joni!

Now i just have to get it off the mandrel in one piece

I'll be sure to post some pics once I get it glued p on the blank. I think its going to look awesome with the titanium and rosewood UL3 seat I'm using!

Cool! As for the shape, that's what custom is all about. It feels good in your hand. That makes the shape perfect.

That is beautiful Mike!

I just got a heads up on the misname incident here! Jason, we have another member with a very similar handle and I was not paying attention
