Default Second Birch Bark Grip Done. Two More on the Way!!

Well, here is my second grip. I LOVE how this one turned out. The rod is for my father in law. It is a 9ft 5wt 4pc blank by roger off ebay. I built up the whole rod besides the grip and did all the boring labor on the grip (gluing the everything up) and had him come over and walked him through turning it down. He had a lot of fun and I did the same thing for my dad. His grip turned out great as well. Pics of it soon. I also finished my 2wt and will post pics of it soon.

I go from never having built a rod before to having 3 rods done and two more in the works. SHEESH!

What do you think of this one?

-Jason

That is some beautiful work...Knowing nothing about birch bark, I am curious to its durability?
