Default Glad this one is done

8' Lamiglas GLB blank, 25" of cork (50 rings) over 18" of butt wrap and 9 guides with more trim bands than I bargained for... Glad it's done, she should be in her new owner's hands tomorrow morning

Thanks John, the rod is a lady, the owner is a guy. This is one of my favorite blanks. I have 3 wrapped up for myself.

Marco,

You must have incredible patience wrapping like that. I have not done many rod dressings but quite frankly by the time I have the winding check - hook keeper - and all the guides and ferrules dressed and packed nice and tight I've had enough. I can't imagine doing all those butt wraps!
mojo and mcnerney like this.

+1 for what Ard said! I wouldn't have that kind of patience, congrats on a beautiful rod, those wraps are just awesome looking.

Thanks for the compliments guys! I have the same problem, that's why I ALWAYS do the butt wrap first. By the time I'm done I can't be bothered with the guides so I put the rod on the rack for a few weeks then go back and do the guides later

Get to that point? Your tackling a project I can't even imagine starting! I've been following your cane project. Let me know when you have one done that you want to part with. I'll be the first customer for WT Bash Boo inc.
