Naa on my 2013 there's 2 spinning rods 1 that's fairly simple and straight forward then there's another with orange/white/blue circle patterned split grips with the 4 point start weave.

It's a horrible addiction. Just when you think you have everything you could ever want as far as rods go, some guy posts a neat trick and you are down at Home Depot buying a schroll saw. (Hint )

Back when you first posted EVA grips, your friend with the multi-colored squiggle grips photo, I ended up at Home Depot......

It's terrible Dan. A buddy of mine just picked up a new Jet variable speed lathe. I couldn't stop playing with it, I should have asked for a moment alone. lol

I already used both grips. The left was my first choice and went on the rod I was building at the time. The one on the right ended up on my brother's Christmas gift
