Default Three days stuck inside produced 3 rods I'll probably never use :(

With a hurricane approaching I locked myself inside with my loved ones and plenty of supplies. Being inside drives me crazy and 3 days was going to be a true test of my patience. I had plenty of blanks and miles of thread. I wrapped and wrapped and wrapped. The storm of the century lived up to it's name and after seeing it's devastation first hand I doubt I will have the heart to fish any of my "Sandy Series" rods... .

Sorry about the storm, can't imagine the devastation. Beautiful work though. Thanks for posting it.

Thanks William, it's a mess but it will take more than Sandy to wash NYC off the map

Beautiful work! If you can't bring yourself to fish them, maybe consider an auction and donating the proceeds to victims of the storm? Just an idea!

My girlfriend suggested giving them directly to a local fisherman. Many fled quickly with only what they were wearing. At this point it seems like the best way to make sure they actually get used. I hope to finish them by Christmas and get them into deserving hands.
