Default Re: Looking for Broken Rod Blanks/Pieces

I do pretty thin coats and work slowly. I don't have the rod on the turner while applying the finish, which I find helps me be careful. Moving the rod while applying the finish keeps the rod moving enough.

No worries, epoxy can be sanded. You can fix the decal with some careful sanding and another coat of finish.
