Any practical difference between inletted and noninletted handle/reel seat rods
I have always used inletted cork handles but recently acquired a reel seat that does not provide for an inletted handle. Outside of the obvious difference between the two, is there any practical difference in performance or durability of the rod if the unletted handle is properly put together?

Short answer: No.
