Here are some pictures of the rod. The finish is all done and dry I'm just letting it fully cure for a few days so it's still on the holder. I took these with my phone so I apologize that they aren't better or show a full rod view.

Nice looking rod! I like the wrap color and the thread wraps look very nice.

First rod build??? Who are you trying to kid??!!
It looks wonderful!! Great job! You're going to love fishing it, too!!! Only problem I can see ... while you're out fishing ... you're going to have a hard time watching the water because you'll be looking at your rod in the sunshine.

Thanks guys. I'm very happy with the way it turned out, and can't wait to fish it.

I started on my 12'6'' 6wt yesterday as well so that will be up next.
