Default Anyone built a Blue Halo?

Looking to enter the world of fiberglass and Blue Halo blanks have caught my eye. I've read some good things about them, but not talked to anyone who has handled one personally. A search of the forum revealed some references but not too much info and I thought it worth asking if anyone has built one?

Here is the one I built.

Ebay Glass

I got this when they first came out on Ebay. I like the rod a lot. They are heavier than graphite but for a glass rod are pretty fast action (medium fast). The only complaint I have had is that it is hard to get blanks from them as they sell out pretty quickly and it takes them awhile to get the next shipment in. At first all they had were the 8' 5/6 blanks but have added some other lengths and weights, but have yet been unable to get them as they are out of stock. I have been waiting about 7 months for them to get in some of their 7/8 weights. I think their prices are reasonable just wished they kept them in stock better.

Thanks for posting the link, nice rod. I like the spiral wraps, looks like it spirals under the hook keeper?

I've emailed the president and he was really helpful. Said they are getting some new blanks online soon. I'm leaning towards the 5/6 8' blanks, in sunburst or blonde.
