Default Liquid Amber

Its that time of year when the leaves are all changing to that beautiful Amber color. That and my buddy posting his quick day run to the Kern river in California with his Epic Amber rod I built him got me inspired to post the two latest Epic builds off my bench.

Both are Epic fiberglass blanks. The one with the Old Copper wraps is a 580 and the other with the Primrose wraps is a 480. The 580 is headed to New York and the 480 is headed to the land down under..... Australia

Nice bendo on the Kern

Sexy sexy!!! Do they make any 7'6" or longer 2 or 3wts?

I'd really like to replace my broken im-6 2wt with some glass

Thanks guys.

Lightest Epic goes is their 4wt. But, it is a true 4wt. and has the sensitivity of a 2 or 3 wt. Much like Bamboo every little twitch goes right to your hand. I believe eventually they plan to come out with some lighter weights.

Pete

Nice looking rods and fish! The transparent wraps are very cool and I like the colors on the other one.

They do offer an 8'6", 6wt. Not that I am stirring the pot of anything like that. Oh did I mention I have a 686 Flame blank sitting in the studio and its a beaut.
