You can get several out of one but you gotta slice em real thin.

Pete, how do you compare the Epic blanks to Steffan, McFarland (newer ones), Kubato, and T.L. Johnson's blank/rods.
I know the Epic are faster glass so are they more along the lines of the Orvis Superfine series?

I feel my Epics are quick to respond to my casting stroke and are very accurate and track true. The only other glass I own is my Steffen. Compared to the Epic the Steffen is a bit slower to respond, but is still a very sweet stick. I don't have enough experience with the other rods you mentioned to speak accurately to them.

Pete
