Question looking for good value 5wt & 7wt. graphite blanks

looking for good value 5wt & 7wt. graphite blanks
decided to have a build off between me and my old fishing pal
i will wrap the 5 he wraps the 7.

his for salmon,, mine for trout ...

we both prefer 2 piece rods, better action
i need advice on finding a couple blanks

where to purchase, what type graphite,(brand)

these blanks do not have to be $700 /.
more like under $100 /.

i like slow action he likes med-fast action.

action not too critical

components , good bar stock cut hardware, i like the looks of the graphite spacers.
i got plenty of wood to make seats

guides? single foots are efficient , snakes are inexpensive

sooooo

help
thanks for your replies

BTW, we've both wrapped rods before, but not for a generation

i already posted on the rod board,
i'm sure you all would like a shot at this request for help
all good

Lightbulb Re: looking for good value 5wt & 7wt. graphite blanks

did not order the Tiger Eye after all. my goof.

so i ordered Forecast blanks from Hook & Hackle
if there was a shop connected to the forum they did not speak up, so
anyway
going to use Recoil guides and SIC tip tops.

i custom made the Black Walnut Burl inserts by hand, time consuming but fun to do.

got some excellent reel seat hardware from J Stodards.

having fun now
