Default This weekend's work...

A forum member on another site I frequent has asked for three pairs of slip rings for rods he has in the works. Instead of getting started right away, I spent most of the weekend upgrading and modifying my tooling so they can be made more efficiently. I'll get his made this coming week but did turn out one sample using the new tooling setup. This example in copper has staggered facets (long, short, long, short), coined edge bands, and is only about 80% polished:
