LL Bean rods ????

I just got an LL bean fly fishing catalog recently and was wodering if there rods are any good???? Dont hear much about them,Thanks!!!

The top models were made by Loomis, but they're all shipped in from China
now. They were blowing out the Loomis made rods for crazy prices when
they switched over, with the final low price at around $60 :eek: !!!!

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but it got me wondering. Does anyone know who makes Cabelas rods?

Not sure about Cabelas rods, but imports for sure. A company called Quarrow used to make some of the LL Bean rods as well, but the more recent ones i have seen have been asian.
