The Orvis is a good way to go. Excellent service, excellent rods, (i have several). The clearwaters are very good for the money and the warranty is for 25 yrs and transfers actualy it fallows the rod.

The TFO rods are a nice rod, I have a 6wt that replaced my St Croix and I love it.

How are those TFO as compared to the St Croix. I have a 5wt Avid that I like alot. Thinking of something in a 7wt and was thinking of getting another St Croix.

there are ALOT of 200 and under rods that would do you right, reddington redfly2, sage launch, Albright A5, grey's G series, orvis clearwater, TFO (i guess), used ebay rods (you can sometimes get a killer deal on some used or personally made rods on ebay, list keeps going. Look hard at the warranty, it could mean the difference between 1 outing then breaking your rod in the car door and waiting a short time for a free or next to nothing repair/replace then back out you go.

Rajeff Sports warrants every ECHO rod for the lifetime of the original owner.
