As for LOOP Yellow, the price is a bit steep, Multi or Opti perhaps. I tried the Multi and liked it. There is also St Croix Imperial and Avid to consider. Is a used but good conditioned Sage VPS a good buy if I get it below $200?

I ended up with two rods a Diamondback Americana 9' 5wt, $90 new and a Sage VXP 9' 8wt, lightly used $320. Now just reels and line to go.

Hey Daniel, where in Sweden are you? I'm in Hillinge, 20 minutes northeast of Jonkoping. I live in the States but do fieldwork here in the summers.

I just left Sölvesborg where our summer house is and I'am now back i Gothenburg for about a week then it's back to Sölvesborg. I'll go to Vimmerby with the kids and will probably stay the night i Jönköping before we go back to Gothenburg.

I was just in Boras to watch Elfsborg play a Europa League match against FK Suduva. Last night we drove through Vastra Jara to check out another archaeological site and saw what looked like a trout stream, but didn't have time to look for fish. I'm trying to find places I can fish for when I return next summer.

Good luck tracking down some reels and line.... join the Allen Revolution
