More great rods Kayo & Mouch, I'm liking all these pictures and seeing some rods that I've never seen before.

My most prized possesion in my rod collection, unknown maker, 8' fiberglass rod. I used to use it when I was a kid when ever I could borrow it from my Grandfather. It's not the best casting, pretty heavy, but it was owned by the best person I've ever known and I wouldn't give it up for anything. It was given to him by his uncle and he never used so it still has the plastic on the handle(I never dared take it off, and probably never will). A while ago the rod was given to my uncle(who doesn't even fish, let alone fly fish) by accident and it has taken me almost 3 years to get it from him, now it's home... for good. Shown mounted to a J.C. Higgins reel that I also used with it back in the day, just holding the rod brings back alot of good memories.

Not a vintage rod, but I'm planning on making a lot of memories with this one. And, God willing, pass it on.

I had the itch to replace the Bass Pro Shops 4wt i got and dont really care for, with something better. So, as i am currently infatuated with Echo rods, i now own a new Echo Carbon 4wt.

IMO, it is a much better casting rod than the BPS Hobbs Creek combo i own. Looks a lot nicer too.

Ive got the itch for a new 6wt too....
