Rod Love; the Fly Rod Picture Thread

These are some B-U-tiful rods!

My McFarland 5wt. E-glass. One of many glass I own. I still love my Winstons and F&F 5wt. and One Ounce 4wt. Graphite.



Another glass rod I love is this Steffan Brothers 4wt. 7'6". Built by Mark Steffan. Not the best looking rod, but a hell of a performer.


And just picked this up this morning. 6'6" Cabelas CGR (glass) 3wt. I ordered it last week. $75 online for all weights. I'll see how it fishes tomorrow.

Nice rods Mojo, I still believe S-glass and E-glass are the best of both worlds. It's funny because 90% of my conventional rods are some form of glass but 90% of my flyrods are graphite. I have to get my hands on a few glass blanks.

Finally the most used and oldest rod i own
The Diawa Exceler 10'6 8wt. Bought in Ireland about 10 years ago. Used there for stillwater angling, here for salmon, steelhead and in the spring, big bass.

Here are my 3 rods. Nothing fancy (7'6" 4wt, 9' 5wt, 9' 7wt). Threw in my jacket to brighten it up a bit. I'd like to pickup a custom SAGE full flex rod someday. Maybe I'll order that one with a little more color.

Did I ever mention that I hate all of you? Those are some seriously amazing fly rods and pictures. If I can find my camera I'll post a pic of the custom build I got done on an affinity MX blank.
