I WON a new rod today, that I think might very, very, VERY quickly move way up the list as one of my favorites.

Its a Echo 3S 6wt. For the price point that these its incredible. I will have to look real hard at not buying another one of these.

Thanks. I need to take GOOD pictures of it with the DSLR that actually capture the color of the blank. Its an extremely pretty rod. The reel I threw on there actually looks like **** compaired to the rest of it.

Oh im well aware of the Allen reels, I own like 8 of them. But that sage reel I have is "free" and its actually a really nice reel, just has an ugly spool.

Here's a rod that's not been posted, there are some threads with it in the pictures but it belongs on Rod Love. This was built in 1993 it is a 6'3" graphite from Lami-flex. It's a 5 weight and I use it for small stream steelhead and whatever else I find. Through the years it has proved strong enough to bring big strong fish to bay so don't let the diminutive size fool ya
