Default Gremlin Emerald Matrix Rod

Anybody have any experience with these fly rods?

Prices are down right cheap and they sure do look pretty!

Any comments would be appreciate

I picked up an 5 pc 8 wt. on E-Bay as a backup to my backup because I wanted a " suitcase rod" & used it a few times on the flats. It wasn't a bad rod for the money & I have no regrets on buying it. Matter of fact I'm Thinking on getting a 2 or 3 wt.

Yes, I have a 6'6" 2wt 4 piece Gremlin rod I have been using for about a year now and it is a great little rod!! I have used Sage, Winston, and St. Croix (good rods themselves) that are in the same weight and length category and the Gremlin is every bit as good, and at a fraction of the cost!! Even with a good size trout, this rod can hold its own.
