Default broken powell tiboron 905-4

Hi Folks,
I snapped the top section of my lovely tiboron 905-4 the other day.
From looking at the Powell website they don't send out pieces/ sections for rods & it wasn't registered for warrenty.

Anybody have any suggestions other than buy a whole new rod?
Anywhere I could pick up a suiteable blank to fit it or some such.

Thanks for your time,

Pat

Hi,

Finding a tip that might fit is a very long shot. If you really like the rod I would make a search on the auction site. If the search comes up empty save the search and elect to get e-mail notification when an item matching the search criteria comes listed.

This is the only way I could suggest to find another rod or tip if the makers can't help.

If your rod is a Tiboron from the days when Powells were made in the USA, give the guys at Raptor Rod Works in Chico, California, a call. If I recall correctly, RRW there was the repair center for Powell rods when it was based out of Chico.
