Its honestly the first 4wt. that i can easily throw an entire line with, and its GLASS SOFT!
I will put some time in with the 480 zenith. Probably have to roll down to Fishwest today and cast it. I have a 480 orvis midge that is a my really soft 4wt rod. I used to love that rod although I only fish it once a year now.

I have been looking for a 486 for dry dropper fishing smaller waters we have around here that are in the 30-100 cfs range.

Just my $.02 but my favorites in order are:

1. Sage LL
2. Scott G series. I like them better than the newer G2s
3. Sage SPL

Each of these have been out of production for a good while but aren't too hard to find on the used market.

Default DB I cast the 480 zenith today...

I cast the rod and liked it, but I also cast a 480 SLT and thought it was slightly better. Kind of funny because I do not particularly like the 486 SLT. The SLT actually had a little more feel than the zenith. Although both of the rods were really good.
