Default Do any of you know much about these rods ?

Wetfly Hydrogen rods ? I see them advertised on 'The Clymb'...but I've not read about them on the forums here....so I thought it was odd that if they are as good as they claim,,,why haven't the pro's here been talking about them ?

Mike the best I could come up with is they're a wholesale tackle dealer out of Idaho. Apparently been around since 1999, but I've never heard of them ... which means nothing.

see these on the clymb regularly.

I think for the money you could get a rod from a 'known' manufacturer and sleep easy at night knowing if something goes wrong with the equipment you're gonna be covered.

I totally agree. I've got several rods now,,,in that price range..from Co's like TFO, St Croix,,etc..to meet what I think are varied situations on the water.... and the companies are rock solid on warranty. This was just passing curiosity on my part,,but thanks for the replies. I think they do have a very good price on their Redington rods though. That's were I got my 8'6",3wt, Redington CT for 65 dollars. I could have lived without it,,but at that price....

Not to worry about 'Reddies;' they're the Sage 'Second line' of rods. You have a 'problem' with any of their equipment (rods, waders, what-ever) the warranty is 'Gold.'
