It is cool that you were able to test cast it beside a couple other fine rods. What characteristics established it as the chossen rod for you?

The others were a bit stiffer, and, when it gets right down to it- I'm a believer in Orvis rods.

I have that rodd in a 8wt. Not sure its "THE ROD", but it is pretty sweet!
