Default Look what followed me home today

I didn't need , but wanted one of these and a deal to good to pass up came along. When a $720 rod comes along at a price where your wife says buy it and don't worry about it, it is a good day

Sage One 390-4 I guess I can't say I need a 9' 3WT anymore. In the near future I'm going to treat it to a new Nautilus FWX or Ross evolution but for now the older Sage click 3200 looks nice and feels good on it.

Nice thank you,

I had been wanting a 9' 3WT but didn't want to dump a ton of money into it since I have 4 other 3wt's ......this was still a ton of $ but I bet I can fish it for years and if I needed to sell it I wouldn't be out but maybe $50.

Here is to hoping I never need to sell it.

Avs! I thought I had issues with gear purchases. Dude you are pretty twisted yourself.

You're on a tear man! Congrats on your purchase. Please let us know how that rod fishes.

Let's be honest though, you won't need to sell it but...you will want something different and pick up another rod in the not so distant future. Like any self respecting gear addict would. I'll call it right now.

You know what they say- once you own a Sage, the next rod has to be a Winston.

Just who "they" are is yet to be determined.

Oh man yeah I am definitely in need of gear intervention. But I will "need" a 7WT for chasing lake run Browns next October.

I am gonna blame my wife though , she bought me the TXL at Christmas and gave me the thumbs up on this one.... Maybe it is her way of saying thanks for supporting her stopping working and going back to school. She graduated from ASU in April and enrolled in USC's virtual graduate program in May.

PS your Lamson reels you just sold would have looked real nice hanging on this.

No more rods , no more rods, no more rods..... There I am cured

I do want a Winston some day, I just keep running in to Sage rods, not on purpose but it has just worked out that way

My friend has a BiiT 4wt that feels really nice, someday I will go green

Good stuff Avs. Congrats on supporting your wife as she works though school. If you find an intervention specialist to help curb your appetite for new gear, ask them about referral $$. I know quite a few of us who are in need

No doubt that Lamson would have been a good match for you. I saw your note, but didn't want to come across as pushy. I figured it was there so if you or anyone else were interested...

It just sold yesterday. Your current reel is a good match though...and if you really want a Lamson they are out there to be had if you know where to look
