Default $20 bought me a ....

Daiwa tf-z 804 #3-4 rod. For $20 i couldn't pass up something to add to the collection. Does anyone know anything about this China made rod? Pretty much a back up or something i can teach someone the fundamentals of FF'ing on. Is it designed for anything specific besides a cheap entry level rod? Is it worth holding onto or should i turn it into a picture frame(cool idea i saw on the interwebs)?

Got an old 9'6 6/7 WT...Not a bad spare rod,a bit heavy, the green blank is nice ;the grip, reel seat and wood insert are not top quality...not sure it was made in Chinaanyway for $20 you can't ask for the moon

I have a made in Scotland, LM-X, 8' 4wt with sliding ring reel seat that I payed 50 bucks new for (close-out) .
It's actually a very nice rod, super light weight, and casts great.
Hopefully your TF-Z is their own knock-off of this one.
