Default Anyone familiar with a Gunnison Mohawk 8 1/2'

There was one for sale at local fly tying club meeting. I know nothing of old glass rods. I didn't get the model number but I would guess it is a 5-6 WT and in excellent condition.

Yeah
That's an H-I, .... a Horricks&Ibbotson
They're one of the highest producing, but lower quality fly rod manufacturers of the era.
That said, I have an early H-I rod that will cast a country mile. It's really amazing.
I don't know what else to tell you except that I personally would buy it, but not if it cost much more than $25-$30

Thanks Riptide, I did not want to insult anyone as they were just looking for a club donation. (A member had passed and it was given to the club). I was the new guy there, and had no idea of value and there was no chance I wanted to insult these nice people. Nobody was too interested in buying it, but I suspect it was because the guys there were very old, and were there for the social aspect more than anything. Betting they don't fish much and have a substantial large collection of equipment already. I was just intrigued because it looked old, but appeared to be almost unused. Wouldn't have cared if I overpaid some, but don't need a rod that doesn't cast well either.
