Default Cortland Rods? Any experience with them?

Hello All,

I am looking for a 10' 4 or 3 wt rod and have a budget. While I was searching the internet looking at Greys rods I cam across the Cortland Competition Nymph rod which has a very good price point. Has anyone delt with cortland as far as a customer service standpoint having to get a rod fixed or replaced? I feel like cortland has been in the game long enough to produce a quality product and remember I am not a competition fisherman just average joe looking for a few shadows so I do not need the best rod out there.

Here is the link to their website:

In advance thanks for your help!

I have a 10'#4 Brook...a friend of mine has a reservoir rod...good deals.
I broke mine...only had to pay the shipping...

This is an eye opening video on lessons we can all learn from competition anglers
They mention the Cortland rods at about the 4:20 mark
