think trout is on a distinguished road
Default Orvis Clearwater Classic

I have a 9 1/2 ft. 6wt. Orvis Clearwater Classic fly rod that was manufactured in 2003. Its a little tip heavy in my opinion and it has a very slow action. It also has a removable fighting butt. The action is very similar to my old 9 1/2 ft. 8wt. Orvis Light Salmon and Saltwater rod that was a manufactured in the 1980s. I was just wondering if anyone has this rod and knows what it was designed for, maybe ultra light steelhead fishing. I mainly use it for fishing lakes for trout and smallmouth bass. I really don't know much about it because I purchased it new on ebay and it was being discontinued. Just curious.
