The TFO rods are great. Did you get the TICRx?

I traded my Scott 6wt for a TFO pro series 10' 5wt. I am one of those weirdos who likes the really long rods for some situations. That model was highly recommended by Davy Wotton for the techniques he uses, (which I am still learning and loving) and I think it will work well for high-stick nymphing as well.

I have given the TiCRx's shakes and waggles and think they are fandarntastic feeling rods with really good hardware for the money. If I didn't already have a Scott HP 9wt, I might consider the 8wt TiCRx. I expect the ECHO ultimate distance 5wt to be a further step up the long-casting fast-rod ladder from the TiCRx.

An older 3pc Alpha. We went to mediation, but it and my casting stroke just didn't get along. A marriage that never should have happened. (Wait a minute, based on this train of thought, I'm a polygamist! And I'm not even in Utah! On top of that, I really like a burly girl with a thick butt! (Scott HP 9wt))

I have the A2 which is an updated SAS or Alpha series. Really love that rod.

The old Voyager 8' 4 wt and short 3wt were great rods for the money, especially the 4. Good price, great warranty, and pretty stout for a cheap 4wt. If they made it in a 3 pc, I probably would have it instead of my 4wt VPS Light. (but I'm glad I got the Sage)

I forgot, have you tried one of their new E2 series rods? I'll probably get the 8' 3wt in that series someday.

I have not had the pleasure of fishing it yet but the E2 is a super rod. I am surprised at the price tag they have on it as it is much better then some of their other rods that are much higher in cost. Not to mention is is beautiful!!

After reading the reviews and comments, I ordered a Diamondglass 4wt from Steve at The Full Creel. I got it the other day and tried it out. I love it. Thanks guys for the helpfull info.
