Question Vintage Fly Rods

My co-worker just inhereted a bunch of rods from his father-in-law from New Brunswick Canada. I offered to help identify their value. Can you advise me on the best way to figure that out?:

Responding to my own post with more info:

2 Hardy Rods in beautfiul shape

1 is "The Marvel Palakona" 7 1/2 ft 4-5 wt. Looks almost unfished except for cork grip discloration. 2 tips, both look straight.

1 is the "l.l. (or b.b.) de france

the 3rd rod is an anomoly. PHOTOS ATTACHED. No identification except for the trout logo. Look at the case thing. Have you ever seen anything like this?

If it's a bamboo rod (6 sided blank), I suggest you go to Clarks board. It's a bamboo rod forum. Hope it helps.

The pictures are hard to tell if it's cane or glass.

Thanks-
Definately cane. Not nearly as nice of a rod as the hardys. But the sheath thing seems really unusual.
