Will a two piece rod cast/feel better than say a four piece rod?

The new 4 piece rods are as good as the 2 piece rods. I have both & from now on will only purchase 4 piece rods. They are so much more easier to travel with that if you plan a trip anytime in the future that's the way to go. I thought that the 4 pc. rods would be stiffer but they are not. I have a 30" rolling duffel bag & I can fit 2 in the case 9' rods in the bottom compartment.

Fishn50 is absolutely correct! If you had two identical rods to cast and one was a four piece and the other a two, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. For years, I always felt that the two piece would cast much better than a four, but finally bought a four and I can't tell the difference, except for traveling there is no comparison. If you can afford the four piece by all means get that over a two. You won't regret the decision.
