Default Bamboo Fly Rod

this is my first post so please forgive any abruptness. I just began fly fishing last season. I have a coworker who is looking to sell a bamboo fly rod that belonged to his father. He told me the rod is marked with one name “Meadowbrook”. However I cannot find any information on the maker. I have yet to see the rod so I do not have any information as to the size or condition but would like to know if it’s worth pursuing. I would very much appreciate if anyone can provide any information as to the maker in addition to what condition issues I should be aware of as well as value.
Thank you.
