Question Scott G Info. Needed

Hi-

Did Scott Fly Rods ever produce an 8'5" 5wt., 3-piece model in the original G series of rods? I can't seem to find any information about this particular rod anywhere...

Thanks,
S

Hi-

No, that Scott is a different rod. I'm looking at the 3 piece and selling the older 2 piece. 2 piece is a sweet rod just looking for something that packs down a bit smaller.

I'm asking about the 3-piece because I can find no mention of it in any online resources I've run across. Doesn't mean that they never produced it but I would like confirmation.

Thanks,
S

They made a 8'8" 5wt that was a sweet rod. Kinda sounds like that's how this one was born, but later had a tip-top added back after it was "accidentally customized."

It might be an 8'8" and the seller just assumed it was a 8'6" I did that one time with one of those rods. If a rod sits in the closet for a while sometimes you forget.
