Default Echo Carbon

In my quest for a new rod, I have been looking at the Echo Carbon 4wt, 8'. Has anyone had a chance to cast this rod, or own one? Nothing on them in the review section. Thanks for any and all input.

If you have not had a chance to look, heres the link.

Hi, The Flyfish Ohio Conclave was last week and Joe Cornwall and company were testing about 23 rods for their 2wt shootout. One of them was the Echo Carbon 2wt, which some of the guys, and myself reviewed favorably against some other "heavy weight" rods, including, Hardy 6ft Flyweight, St Croix Legend Ultra, Cabelas TQR, and Greys to name a few. The results of this will be on the Flyfishing Ohio website shortly.

I liked it a lot. It was balanced with a feather-light White River Classic Click Pawl reel and Hook and Hackle DT 2wt line. Light and strong, the Echo Carbon is a smooth and fairly elegant caster. It was easy to get some distance out of this featherweight rod. It is on my short list of new ultralights to get. I suspect your 4 weight will cast pretty well too. If you buy it, let me know what you think.
