Default flyshopcloseouts and its quality?

Has anyone ordered a rod from wwwflyshopcloseouts.com? They have many hard to pass up deals, but I am always leary of hard to pass up deals. Are they factory seconds or throwbacks? or are they just overstocked discontinued items they got for a good deal?

for example:

Orvis Zero Gravity Rod with Lamson Velocity Hard Alox Reel and Line for a 4 Weight
Retails for: $936.90
Our Price: $514.99

I have ordered 3 or 4 reels from them and there my go to place. Everything is brand new and they buy outdated or "last years model" in bulk from factories then sell them. Thats what they told me on the phone cause at first i was concerned and had to ask. So dont be afraid it good stuff..LOL and come with warrenty cards.

They are actually located in the next town over from me, and the guy who runs the Orvis store here on the Cape recommends them for deals. I wouldn't be too wary. They seem very legitimate.

I did buy a vest from them, looks great and has more pockets than I know what to do with, inside and out. I wanted the tan, but they called me to let me know that they didnt have it in my size, would i like the olive instead? Sure I said. Arrived promptly and well packaged.

I ended up ordering a TFO Pro 4wt 4 pc w/the Redington CD 3/4 reel from them. I see no flaws, came in factory packaging with the rod sock, and warranty card. Reel was spooled with backing and line for left hand retrieve, came with a reel case. I am super happy with them, and will order from them again. Great place!

I had a great buying experience as I bought my first outfit, a 9' 5wt. TFO Pro rod with Orvis Mid Arbor Battenkill. There prices are excellent on what they offer.

All my Lamson radius reels in every size they make are from them. Easy and good to deal with. They rock
