This is the fly I'm tying for the swap. It's right at 7" long. The tail is magnum (1/4" or better wide) zonker strip to make it tougher. This is my favorite Pike fly. The thread is completely covered by Epoxy on the weed gaurd, Leather and a plastic bead on the fly. This fly is nearly bullet proof. Almost everyone I have killed met it's doom on something behind me like a telephone pole or a tree. The eyes are epoxied on also. Most eye loss is on stuff behind me as well.

Are there any more takers, or are we stuck at 8? I could be done with these pretty quick here if we have 8. If we get more, I'm going to need to get more eyes. I have chartreuse ones, but I like the red better. I coolaid dyed some of the rabbit and am going to tie myself one with the colors reversed just for fun. I've never tried a blue one. Truthfully though, These work well enough I don't think color makes a bit of difference. I was dying other stuff and tossed it in because there was room.

the tail is a magnum chartreuse barred zonker and chartreuse krystal flash, the body is a crosscut yellow zonker, the head it built up yellow thread, flashy stick on eyes, and it is coated with z-poxy. the hook is 4/0 saltwater hook. they are all right around 7 inches.
