One of my "use all the time" patterns. Almost never go without having one on the line, at least once or twice during an outing.

Mine should be in the mail by Wednesday.

I do like how that "picture box" works. Great pic.

Thanks Min, this pattern should be killer on the local lakes. Pink/Red and Chartruesse are the colors I have found to be best. The first day I float Tubed I was pretty much casting blind, tried buggers, copper johns, etc, was getting nothing. tied on a red scud, and bang the day changed.

Mark,

I'll tie up a chironomid pattern for this swap if it's still open. Joni got me started on them last year with her Chiro swap and I haven't stopped tying them yet. It will be one of Chan's patterns but also fishable on swift waters; maybe a Chromie. Let me know if OK.

Also, have you decided on a due date yet?

I tied up a dozen Illuminator Chironomids today; variants of Chan's pattern. I'll send them off right after the 1st; 12 flies. Here's a pic:
