Flies for Custom Call

I make high quality custom duck and goose calls from exotic woods like cocobolo, ebony, maple burl and walnut burl.I have just started fly fishing and have recently bought a 5 wt outfit and a 9 wt outfit. I live in Northern Ontario and will be fishing for smallmouth bass, northern pike, Great Lakes steelhead and sometimes brook trout.I am looking to find a fly tier who is interested in trading hand tied flies for a custom made duck call, goose call or a matching pair of calls.

Makes me wish I knew a duck hunter, because I think that is a fine proposition I'd like to take advantage of. I'm afraid most "hunters" I know prefer to sit in boxes waiting to "harvest" a deer that has been conditioned to come to a feeder that shoots grain out twice a day. Come to think of it, maybe "Free Range Deer Ambushing" would be a more accurate title.

Man, if there are any duck hunters around this is the real deal for them. I know a couple of guys who tie that just might be hunters also. I'll check around and see. Duck calls are akin to bamboo fishing rods, there's just not that many craftsmen that can do them.

I have made a few trades in the past with non-hunters who just wanted a call just for the workmanship and as a collectable. I am still interested in trading with anyone on this forum. I have a few duck calls and goose calls made that are available to trade. i can send you a picture of my calls if you are interested.

Sorry dude...having a hard time clearing the docket to get all your flies done..part way there. Will take a little longer than expected..writing taking up too much time and working nights makes it hard to do anything the next day until afternoon.

Still interested in trading flies with members of this forum.Here is a picture of a pair of maple burl and cocobolo calls that I have available to trade. One call is a double reed duck call whereas the other call is a short reed goose call.
