I've got all the materials except for hackle. This hackle craze is severely frustrating. I spend enough on standard materials to spend ludicrous amounts on hackle. I'll have to commit soon enough...

Well Mark, if you feel like that's enough time between the winged-wet and small streamer deadlines...I'll agree!

I'll pick a good pattern from Engle's book before I return it to the library...then find it on amazon or ask my wife to buy it for me as a x-mas gift. My daughter does enjoy it, almost as much as me!

Depending on how small you intend to go with Gnats, you can find a small bog of feathers sized for the fly and not have to splurge for the over-priced cape just yet.

I haven't jumped in on the married wing swap because my married wings are AWFUL, and I'm undecided on a small streamer as of yet but I think I'm getting in there...

I'm in for the Great Lakes Steelhead, Midge, Winged Wet, and Popper swaps, and soon the small streamer if I'm allowed in

Also, I sat down last night over a couple micro brews and finished up my Krystal Flash Midges in size 16. I am getting a new Pentax Optio camera for my bday next weekend and will post pics when I get to open the camera (wife's rules).

I have an older Optio, it's a nice little camera. It might have been one of the first versions of the water proof model, I'm sure the new model is sweet! The underwater capability is great, and works very well...what style is the new one?
