Default Saltwater Streamer Fly Swap, Spring 2012

Thanks to "theboz" for suggesting this one.

How about a Saltwater Streamer Swap ?

Due Date of May 1, 2012

To resist corrosion, all patterns should be tied on "saltwater" hooks.

This swap is limited to the first 13 swappers that say "I'm in" -- tie up 12 flies and you'll get back 12 flies (one from each of the other swappers)

As always, tyers of all abilities and experience are welcome.

1. theboz - ExStreamer RECEIVED
2. Aroostookbasser - Guitar Minnow
3. Gatortransplant - Grassett's Snook Minnow RECEIVED
4. Famil00 - Clouser RECEIVED
5. jimw - Surf Candy RECEIVED
6. Swirlchaser - EZ Surf Candy RECEIVED
7. Chefben4 - Green Zima
8. Grassonfly RECEIVED
9. Peregrines

I'll be tying the classic Guitar Minnow........"The Penobscot" variant.

A pattern used up here to target stripers on inshore excursions.

Great Gator you're in and it looks like we have a May 1 due date.

Grassonfly since this will be a saltwater streamer swap the patterns folks are tying should work on a wide variety of saltwater gamefish--everything from striped bass and bluefish up here in the NE to redfish, specs, snook, spanish macs etc down your way.
