These should be arriving any day. A decent workhorse hopper to sling some nymphs under for summer. Done in drab colors to match the locals that live in the granite canyons here, although it'll do as a cricket too elsewhere. Seems to work even better after it gets chewed up a bit!

I have to appologize guys, I'll not be delivering as promissed. Events here have required a location change and my tying gear is all packed. Everything started weeks ago and took my complete attention...sadly away from bench time and getting my flies done.
I opened my calander today and realised what I had forgotten.

I hope that when I get resettled I can get back into one of these, I suspect I'll have pleanty of time in light of the changes taking place.

again, I'm sorry

My foam hoppers will be in the mail Wednesday AM. Not as good looking as tbblom's, but something you won't mind risking running it next to bank snags. And I know they catch fish.
Sorry, no photo- I'm still having issues with Photobucket, but here's the reciepe:
FOAM HOPPER RECIEPE

Hook- Size 8 TMC 200R/DaiRiki #270, barb pinched
Thread- Gray 3/0 waxed monocord
Abdomen- Yellow craft foam
Head- Brown craft foam
Head tag- Orange craft foam
Tail- Red saddle hackle fibers
Legs- Medium orange rubber*
*For this swap, I left the legs long so you can tie in
a “knee knot” or trim them shorter as you wish.

The postal worker guy told me they'll be there Saturday.
